About the Project
12 Ceiling bays illuminate this Gym space below a Corporate office in Central London. Each ceiling bay uses a stretch fabric, backlit by 30 RGB and Tuneable White pixels. The ceiling feature and pixel tape were supplied and installed by No Grey Area
Content and scenes curated by Troup Bywaters + Anders are used for differing class styles, and include static warmer whites and Blue sky video content for Yoga, and upbeat colour changes for Spin classes.
A Pharos VLC-50 is used to handle the pixel mapping with DMX distibuted to the ceiling via an EDN-20 & EDN-10. Overall control in the space is via a Designer TPS-5 Touchscreen.
